Accessibility Statement
Onze visie en aanpak op het gebied van digitale toegankelijkheid.
Our approach to accessibility
At StreamLogic, we believe accessibility is essential. Everyone should be able to access and understand information — regardless of ability, device, or context.
At the same time, we recognize a reality: Achieving full compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.2 or PDF/UA is often complex, time-consuming, and expensive. As a result, many documents are never made accessible at all.
We believe this must change.
Accessibility is not all or nothing
Accessibility is often treated as a binary outcome: a document is either compliant or not. We see it differently.
Accessibility exists on a spectrum. Every improvement — no matter how small — makes information more usable for more people.
Our goal with CLARITY is to move documents significantly forward on that spectrum, quickly and efficiently.
What CLARITY does
CLARITY automatically analyses and improves PDF documents to make them more accessible for assistive technologies such as screen readers and other accessibility tools. It can:
- Improve document structure
- Add semantic information
- Enhance readability
- Provide insight into accessibility improvements through reports
In many cases, documents become fully readable and usable after processing.
What CLARITY does not do
CLARITY is not a replacement for full manual accessibility remediation. Because the service relies on automated processing and AI:
- Results may vary depending on the document
- Some elements (such as complex images or tables) may not be interpreted perfectly
- Full compliance with WCAG 2.2 or PDF/UA is not guaranteed
For documents that require full compliance, manual review and correction may still be necessary.
Our commitment
We are continuously improving CLARITY and investing in better technology. Our goal is simple:
- Make accessibility faster
- Make accessibility more affordable
- Make accessibility available at scale
We believe that increasing the number of accessible documents has a greater impact than perfecting a small number.
Your responsibility
While CLARITY helps improve accessibility, the responsibility for:
- Verifying compliance
- Ensuring legal requirements are met
remains with the user. We always recommend reviewing processed documents, especially when they are used in regulated environments.
Privacy and security
Accessibility should never come at the cost of privacy. CLARITY is designed with privacy and security as core principles:
- Documents are processed automatically
- Files are deleted within 24 hours
- Document content is not used to train AI models
- Processing is performed in accordance with GDPR
A shared goal
Accessibility is not just a technical requirement — it's a shared responsibility.
We build the tools. You apply them where they matter. Together, we can make more information accessible to more people.
